Barcus is, as is often the case, anxious to help with the current crisis, but the past few weeks have been delicate. It feels as though discretion is the better part of valor in pursuing any quest. He's quick to follow along with Dorian when he discovers he's going hunting for the shards.

Ironic, actually, that the first place they should have to look is by the cliffs of Grey Ward, not very far from where he and Ashton almost died in the quake. He's distracted, looking out upon the field of debris, much of which has been sorted and tidied by now. There are still bits of houses lying there, though, recognizable even after a little weathering.

"...uh?" He shakes himself slightly at the question and looks up at his friend. "About the quest? I think it's a good opportunity to learn a little more about this world."

"Or did you mean what do I think about Vesper? I'm not sure yet. But at least he's talking to us."
